Can I use this inverter generator at high altitudes?

Yes, but please note that engine performance may decrease, we recommend installing a high-altitude kit. A high-altitude carburetor jet (or nozzle) helps adjust the air-fuel mixture for proper combustion, and prevents spark plug fouling.

Why is there residual gasoline in the new generator?

To ensure quality, all generators are functionally tested in the factory, so there may be a slight smell of gas or minimum residual gasoline when you receive it.
